Itinerary Details

Day 1 Arrive Kathmandu

Arrival: Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport. After clearing customs and immigration, proceed to the arrival hall where our representative will meet you. You will receive a traditional welcome and assistance with your transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 Kathmandu

Morning: Explore Kathmandu with a city tour of Durbar Square. This complex of palaces, courtyards, and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries, was the seat of the ancient Malla kings. Notable features include a 17th-century stone inscription in 15 languages. Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a vibrant social, religious, and urban center. The palace also houses several museums.
Afternoon: Visit Swoyambhunath Stupa, perched on a hill overlooking the valley. One of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal, Swoyambhu, also known as Sengu, is linked to the creation of the Kathmandu Valley and is listed as a World Heritage Site. Continue to Patan City, which boasts a rich blend of palace buildings and artistic courtyards. The former royal palace complex, now a museum, features an impressive collection of bronze statues and religious artifacts. A highlight is the 16th-century Krishna Temple, built entirely of stone.

Day 3 Kathmandu to Chitwan

Morning: After breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park, approximately 165 km away, taking about 5 hours. Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, covers 932 square kilometers and is renowned for its unique ecosystem, including hills, ox-bow lakes, and flood plains. The park, dominated by Sal forests, is home to 43 species of animals, including the endangered one-horned rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger, gharial crocodile, and more. En route, enjoy a rafting experience on the Trisuli River, including lunch by the river.
Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 4 Chitwan

Morning: Begin with canoeing on the Rapti River. Afterward, visit the Elephant Breeding Center. Return to the hotel, passing through local villages. Rest until lunch.
Afternoon: Enjoy elephant bathing and a briefing about the park. If time permits, go on a jeep safari or nature walk. In the evening, attend a slide presentation on Chitwan National Park's wildlife, followed by a Tharu cultural show and dinner.
Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 5 Chitwan to Kathmandu

Morning: Take a jungle safari on the back of an elephant to explore deeper into the park and photograph wildlife, or opt for a jungle walk to experience the park's birdlife and flora. There is a chance to spot the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. After lunch, drive back to Kathmandu.
Evening: Enjoy free time in the Thamel district of Kathmandu.
Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 6 Departure

Morning: Transfer to the airport for your flight to the next destination.
