Day 1 Arrival in Delhi

Upon your arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to your hotel. Take some time to relax and acclimate to the city.

Day 2 Delhi - Amritsar

Leave Delhi and travel to Amritsar, known for its historical and cultural significance in Sikhism. Visit the iconic Golden Temple and witness the evening ceremony at the Wagah Border, a unique border-closing ceremony between India and Pakistan. Overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day 3 Amritsar - Pragpur

After breakfast, drive to Pragpur, a heritage village in the Kangra Valley. Explore the charming streets lined with traditional houses and visit notable attractions such as the Judge's Court, Taal, and Butail Niwas. Day 4 Pragpur Sightseeing

Day 7 Manali Sightseeing

Day 8 Manali - Shimla

Day 9 Shimla

Spend the next two days exploring Shimla at your leisure. Explore the Mall Road, visit Christ Church, and soak in the colonial charm of Shimla. You can visit popular attractions such as Jakhu Temple, Viceregal Lodge, and Kufri. Enjoy leisurely walks, explore the local markets, and take in the beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Overnight stays in Shimla.

Day 10 Shimla - Delhi by Toy Train

In the morning, board the famous Himalayan Queen train (52456) from Shimla. The train departs at 10:40 am, so make sure to arrive at the Shimla Railway Station on time. Enjoy the scenic journey as the toy train chugs through the picturesque landscapes of the Himalayan foothills, passing through numerous tunnels, bridges, and quaint villages. Admire the breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys along the way. The train journey takes approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes, and you will arrive in Kalka at around 4:10 pm.

Upon reaching Kalka, you will have some free time to explore the town or grab a bite to eat. In the evening, board an overnight train from Kalka to Delhi. There are several overnight train options available, such as the Kalka Mail (12312) or the Howrah-Delhi Kalka Mail (12312). These trains typically depart in the evening and arrive in Delhi the next morning. Check the train schedules and availability to choose the most suitable option for your journey.

Day 11 Arrival in Delhi

After a comfortable overnight train journey, you will reach Delhi in the morning. Disembark at your designated station, and depending on your preference, you can either explore Delhi or proceed to your next destination.

Day 12 Delhi

Day at leisure for own explorations in Delhi.
