Itinerary Details

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival: Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport.
Welcome and Transfer: After clearing customs and immigration, proceed to the arrival hall where our representative will meet you. You will receive a traditional Indian welcome, and then be assisted with your transfer to the hotel.
Overnight: Stay in Kathmandu.

Day 2 Kathmandu City Tour

Morning: Explore the Kathmandu Durbar Square, a historic complex of palaces, courtyards, and temples built between the 12th and 18th centuries. This area, once the seat of the ancient Malla kings, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and serves as the city’s social, religious, and urban hub. Don’t miss the 17th-century stone inscription with writings in 15 languages and the museums within the palace building.
Afternoon: Visit Swoyambhunath and Patan City.
Swoyambhunath Stupa: Located atop a hill, this sacred Buddhist site overlooks the valley. It is believed to be linked to the creation of the Kathmandu Valley and is listed as a World Heritage Site.
Patan City: Known for its beautiful palaces, courtyards, and temples, Patan is a center of religious and social life. Visit the 16th-century Krishna Temple, built entirely of stone, and the museum housed in the former royal palace, showcasing bronze statues and religious artifacts.
Overnight: Stay in Kathmandu.

Day 3 Bhaktapur, Pashupatinath, and Boudhnath

Morning: Explore Bhaktapur City, known for its remarkable art and architecture. Admire the 15th-century Palace of 55 Windows, which houses the National Art Gallery. The golden gate at the palace entrance and the surrounding temples are notable highlights.
Afternoon: Tour Pashupatinath and Boudhnath.

Pashupatinath Temple: One of the most sacred Hindu shrines, located 5 km east of the city center. The richly adorned pagoda houses the sacred linga of Lord Shiva, with a history dating back to before 400 AD. Witness devotees performing rituals at the holy Bagmati River.
Boudhnath Stupa: Situated about 6 km east of downtown Kathmandu, this is the largest stupa in the valley, standing 36 meters tall. Boudhnath, a World Heritage Site, is also known as Khasti and is surrounded by over 45 Buddhist monasteries.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to the next destination

Day 5 Punakha – Paro

Drive to Paro: Depart for Paro (approx. 4 hours). Rinpung Dzong: Visit Rinpung Dzong, a fortress-monastery with stunning views of the Paro Valley. National Museum: Explore the National Museum of Bhutan, housed in an ancient watchtower. Kyichu Lhakhang: Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples. Check-in: Arrive at your hotel in Paro and check in.
